History

The GNU Free Documentation License requires that a "History" page be included with all published versions of this book. This page must include the book's title, year of publication and all authors credited on the Title Page. It also must include an explicit list of modifications made to the text of this book since its initial publication. The purpose of this list is to help readers discern the individual author or authors responsible for each portion of the book. For this reason, all derivative versions of this book must include an unabridged version of the book's history, including the accompanying "Change Log," at the time of modification and must include this history, along with a list of modifications made, when publishing derivative versions. Simply put, this History page is the time stamp separating my version of Free as in Freedom from other author's versions. It also includes an introduction page not found in the original O'Reilly book along with a few HTML upgrades and typo corrections. All subsequent modifications have been listed on the FAIFzilla.org "Change Log" page, which is also part of this "History" page.
